The purpose of this study is to analyse the extended meaning variety English words used by Indian Railways in their signages, trackside indicator boards, station name boards and symbols, directives etc different forms railway territories, find out differences choice expression among them. data for were collected from published sign symbols premises, platform zones across network, passenger displayed at premises inside coaches, other notifications time tables etc. All these can be classified under advertisements two broad categories: commercial non-commercial.
